Parisian Design Makes the Old World New Again

For many of us the idea of French design conjures images of ornate, flower-clad belle époque style designs. However, designers in Paris are breaking from that stereotype and producing some of the sleekest modern furniture found anywhere.

Maison Ventury Paris is one company that is turning out ultra modern furniture designs that still have that special touch of French elegance. Their offerings include the remarkably clean lines of the Otto Sofa, which has backrests that can be arranged to your preference.

But if you like just a touch of traditional detail you might like the Divine chair, which features a modern shape, with unexpected ornamentation on the legs.

Maison Ventury Paris was founded by Emmanuel Touraine and Vincent Cadena. The company is “a full-scale global design and lifestyle company reflecting [French] standards of style and elegance, with designs taking inspiration from the poise ad glamour of Parisian chic.”  Their philosophy is that “design should pa homage to the past, while embracing the future.”
